Dandelion-Infused Thieves Blend Soap
It's been said the Dandelion herb has wonderful skin benefits, including soothing skin irritations and functioning as an anti-inflammatory. With a multitude of cheery dandelions this spring, one of the things done with the blossoms was to prepare oil infusions for soaps. The blossoms were picked, dried, and cold-infused. Cold infusions are done by filling jars with dried blossoms and covering completely with olive oil. After six weeks, the oil was strained and will be used for various soap formulations. The result is a wonderful lathering and cleansing bar of soapy goodness. This soap is a sweet and herbaceous blend of cinnamon, clove, lemon, eucalyptus, and rosemary essential oils with activated charcoal and is one of the most popular soaps I make.
